I have been a teacher for over 20 years in the primary school arena. I love what I do because it impacts my students’ lives and their families.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have a collaborative style of teaching. I encourage my students to share, discuss, and explore. I listen to their experiences and opinions and integrate them in the lesson. Therefore, I diversify my approach to teaching in order to reach them.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I explored other careers before becoming an educator. I took courses in Accounting and Business Administration before enrolling in Education. I wanted to make sure that I really wanted to be a teacher…and not just follow the family tradition. I am glad I did!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am a third generation educator. My mom was an elementary school teacher. She worked at my grandfather’s private school. My grandpa was the principal.
